Dr M. Srinivasa Rao has an elder brother named Mr M. Siva Rama Krishna a younger brother named Dr M. Ravikumar.

Dr M. Srinivasa Rao completed his schooling at Sarada Public School and Sisu Vidya Mandir, Vijayawada (later, he completed his Intermediate at Sai Co-operative Junior College (Later merged in Chaitanya Junior College) and completed B.Sc Degree at SVRM College, Nagaram. He was actively involved in Student Welfare activities. He was elected to the post of Secretary in the Student Union Elections. He acquired knowledge and experience by participating in many Programme, like NCC, NSS and Cultural Programmes. He actively participated in Eight Jamborees, Bhoomi Programmes and participated in 16 camps conducted by NCC and NSS. During 1994–1997 he completed his Masters Degree in M.Sc Bio Chemistry at JIP’s College, Guntur. As he has great passion to write the poems (knowledge the journey), Dr M. Phil Course in Bio Technology at Bharati Dasan University, Thiruchirapalli. He got the M.Phil Degree in 2009 for his Dissertation on “Studies on Thalassemia”. He did extensive research on “A Role in Nitrogine Enzyme on Diabetes Mellitus Patients” and was awarded Doctorate in 2009. Later he pursued MBA in Clinical Research at IAMA, Bangalore. He presented research papers in Nine International Conferences in abroad.

In the year 2002 he established Zee Labs Private Limited in Guntur. Even in the initial stages of establishing the lab, he took great interest in the research and guided his scholars for their M.Phil Degrees and guided three scholars in getting their Doctorate Degrees. In the year 2011 he attended his labs to West Godavari and Prakasam Districts.

In the year 2004 he joined Lionism to serve the society in a better and systematic manner. He was successful in materializing a permanent project, Lions Vision Blood Bank at Guntur. This Blood Bank was inaugurated by Ln N.V. Ramana (District Governor: 2005–2006). He worked hard in bringing a change from professional Blood donors system to voluntary Blood Donor system. Another mile stone in coming up with extraction of platelets from blood and serving to the Dengue patients. From the year 2005 to till date he was able to serve the One lakh sixty two thousand (1,62,000) needy patients with blood units with no profit and no loss mode.

He was the recipient of many prestigious awards like International Presidential Award, International Leadership Award, Best Cabinet Secretary Award, Nine International Presidential Appreciation Awards, Six Club Extension Awards, Fifty Members–Master Key Award and many District and Multiple Level awards.

He extensively participated in lionistic services and administrative activities for over Fifteen years. He served as Club Secretary, President, Club Director, Audit Cabinet Secretary, International Recognized District Chairman, LCIF Coordinator, GMT Coordinator, GST Coordinator and won the appreciation of one and all.
