Lions Biography
MJF Lion. S.V.N. NIVRUTH RAO
Born into a Zamindari family in Mylavaram, Krishna District, on January 14, 1973, Lion Nivruth Rao’s early years
were spent in Hyderabad due to his mother’s roots there. He received his education at prestigious institutions
in Hyderabad, including the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, and Osmania University, where he earned
M.Com. and M.B.A. degrees. Returning to his ancestral estate in Mylavaram, he took charge of its management
and married Ln. Srijaya in 1999. They are blessed with a son, Chi. Prithvi Narasimha Rao.
Ln. Nivruth Rao’s family has a centuries-long tradition of philanthropy in the Mylavaram region. They have
donated land for essential public facilities like the Government Degree College, Bus Stand, Government School,
Police Station, and Library. Continuing this legacy, Ln. Nivruth Rao’s family established the Sri Rajah S.V.R.G.
Narasimha Rao Charitable Trust, named after his grandfather. The Trust focuses on uplifting the economically
disadvantaged through initiatives such as subsidized Junior and Degree colleges, affordable water plants, free
eye checkups and surgeries, and vocational training centers for women.

possesses extensive experience in managing various enterprises, including Cinema Theatres, Rice
Mills, Educational Institutions, and Real Estate. He is a member of esteemed clubs such as the Secunderabad
Club and Vijayawada Club. A core member and Secretary of the Krishna District Rifle Association, Vijayawada,
he played a pivotal role in its development, including the establishment of a Firing Range worth Rupees 2 Crores.
Ln. Nivruth Rao’s dedication and accomplishments culminated in his unanimous election as Multiple
Council Chairperson of the newly formed Multiple District MD316 of Andhra Pradesh. His journey exemplifies
a commitment to service, leadership, and community development, leaving an enduring impact on the lives
of many. He was instrumental in spear heading the Lions Dialysis Centers which have come up in Nuzvid and
Tiruvuru with the help of LCIF and they are very successfully running and serving the community.
Ln. Nivruth Rao’s journey in Lionism began in 1998. His natural leadership abilities have propelled him through
various positions, from Joint Secretary in 1999 to 2nd Vice District Governor in 2013-14. He served as District
Governor in 2015-16 and Council Chairperson in 2016-17. His tenure as Secretary of the Lions Club of
Mylavaram was marked by numerous Eye & Medical Camps, earning him the “Best Secretary” award. As President,
he spearheaded projects such as Bus Shelters and a satellite Eye-Check up Center at the Government Hospital in
Mylavaram. These efforts garnered him the “Best President” award. He has also been instrumental in extending
15 clubs during his roles as Region Chairperson in 2009-10 and Governor’s Area Representative in 2010-11.
He is a graduate of the Senior Lions Leadership Institute. He has been recognized with two Presidential Awards
and two Leadership Awards from Lions International.
