the transformative power of education. Despite his rural upbringing, he pursued his academic aspirations
with unwavering determination, graduating in Science and earning a postgraduate degree in English
Literature from the esteemed Sagar University.

 Lion Boppana Banarjee Babu’s contributions to education extend
far beyond his role as an educator and mentor. He has been an integral part of the educational landscape
in the region, serving in various capacities, including correspondent, treasurer, governing body member, and
president for several esteemed institutions, such as VKR and VNB Polytechnic, Gudivada, A.P. Polytechnic,
ANR PL Degree College, Gudivada, and the A.P. Children Convents Association, Krishna District.

Lion Banerjee Babu’s commitment to education transcended the boundaries of his own
school. He understood the importance of equipping students with the tools to navigate the complexities
of career choices and personal development. To this end, he orchestrated over 300 ‘Career Guidance
Programs’ across the vast expanse from Vijayawada to Palasa, benefiting an estimated 3,00,000 school
and college students. These programs served as beacons of hope, illuminating potential career paths and
inspiring students to dream big.
In addition to career guidance, he organized numerous educational seminars aimed at fostering student
motivation. Through dynamic leadership workshops and the compilation of the insightful ‘Lions Digest’
for Lion Members, he instilled valuable life skills and a sense of purpose in countless young individuals.

His passion for knowledge led him to the noble profession of teaching, where he served as an English
Lecturer in Maharashtra for seven years, leaving an indelible mark on countless young minds. However, his
vision for education extended beyond the confines of a traditional classroom. Driven by an entrepreneurial
spirit and a desire to empower his community, he returned to his roots and established the first English
Medium School, ‘Little Flower Convent,’ in Gudivada in 1976. This pioneering endeavor laid the foundation
for quality education in the region, providing countless students with the opportunity to excel in an
increasingly globalized world.
