PMJF Lion. Shivashankar Lingam

Lion Er. Lingam Shiva Shankar, is a distinguished individual
with a legacy of leadership and service. Hailing from a family that includes his parents, Sri Lingam
Nageswara Rao & Smt. Lingam Kamala Manoharam, and his wife, Ln. Lingam Sita Mahalaxmi, he is
also a proud father to Lingam Karthik, M.S. and his wife Lingam Keerthi, B.Tech., as well as Lingam
Koushik, B.Tech., MBA (USA) and his wife Lingam Siri, B.Tech.

ion Shiva Shankar’s academic journey led him to earn a B.E.
in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction, achieving the Licentiate Topper in Andhra Pradesh. His
professional path started as a Lecturer at R.V. College of Engineering before transitioning into the
field of insurance as a Loss Assessor and later a Chartered Engineer & Consultant.

 Leadership has been a constant thread throughout his life, from holding
Class President roles in school and college to serving as Coordinator for The Institute of Insurance
Surveyors & Loss Assessors, Vijayawada Unit. He was recently elected Chairman for the AP Chapter
of IIISLA (Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors) in 2020.

Beyond Lionism, Lion Shiva Shankar is an active
member of various organizations, including the Fun Times Family Recreation Club, Abhiruchi Cultural
Organisation, and Krishna District Writers’ Association. He also holds an honorary membership with
the Animal Welfare Board of India.

His Lionistic journey, which began in 1983, is marked by
significant achievements and contributions. He has received accolades such as Second Best President,
Outstanding Zone Chairperson, and Best Region Chairman. His leadership within the Lions Club
saw him rise through the ranks, serving as District Cabinet Treasurer, Vice District Governor, and
ultimately, District Governor. During his tenure as District Governor, he spearheaded a district-wide
tree plantation initiative and facilitated the extension of 27 clubs, earning him recognition with
the 3rd Best Extension Award and 1st Best Membership Award at the international level.
